Mama Mia!

Sue and Danielle were really excited about their first New York City cab ride.

Mom... well, she was not so excited.

We got to the theater with only 10 minutes to spare.

Here's Brandi in a poster for Mama Mia!

Our seats were awesome! I got yelled at by the usher for taking this photo.

Mom got to go on the stage!

It was right by Times Square.

A really good picture of Mom and her DILs in Central Park.

We stumbled upon the Carnegie Deli, totally by accident.

Sue and Danielle shared a BLT. This was no regular BLT, this thing was colossal!

Sue pretending to eat the BLT. They had to take out half of the insides out before it was bite sized.

Danielle pretending to eat hers.
Mom and I shared a reubin. It was so big, we each ate a third and took a third back to my dad.

Riding the escalator back from the Path Train.

We got a nice police officer to take a picture of us with the NYC skyline behind us.

It was an incredible trip. Everything went so smoothly, even though we are all betas by nature.

Happy Birthday dear Faye and Andi!

Sue told me this would be a cool topic to blog about.

My mom and I share the same birthday. She turned 29 the same day she had me so that means, since this is my 29th birthday, I will be exactly half her age tomorrow. It also means that I have been in her life for half of it (that's a lot of Andi).

This year, for our birthday, we are going to watch Mamma Mia on Broadway with my two sister-in-laws! We're all really excited. Well, we're not going for another month or so, but it's something to look forward to. I'm actually going to spend my birthday working late and going to my friend Amanda's house to watch America's Next Top Model. My mom is going to painting class. Not very exciting, I know.

I love my mom very much. She's always told me that she's my best friend, and the older I get, the more I realize it's true. She's always there for me (no matter how much of a brat I can be) and she makes me laugh with her random thoughts. One of my favorite stories to tell about her is how when I was little, I asked her if baby Jesus really smiled at the little drummer boy (like in the song) and she told me he probably had gas.

I love you, mom. Even though you correct my grammar. I'm just kidding, I'm glad you correct my grammar, it's made me a better person. That doesn't give you permission to do it more!

Thank you for being a part of my life. I hope the next 29 years will make me more like you.

Some more...

This is Indi. Her favorite character right now is Susan (I think that's her name, I haven't seen Prince Caspian) so I though she would get a kick out of seeing herself as Susan. In the original picture, she had her finger up to her mouth. You can still see it, that's because I was too lazy to photoshop it out.
By request, my favorite cousin, Kathleen, wanted me to do one of her. I didn't have a lot of pictures of her, since I haven't seen her in ten years, but I thought this was pretty cute. So, Kathleen, do blondes have more fun?

So what do you get the man who has everything or at least can afford to buy anything he feels he wants?
A custom bobble-head! Probably because he would never in a million years buy it for himself.

So, for Christmas, the girls at my work decided to put our money together and get our boss a bobble-head made in his likeness. We ordered it from a company based in China at and it just got here today and I'm so excited!

Here are the pictures I took of him to send to the company. Thank goodness he's a busy man and didn't really wonder too much why I was telling him to pose for pictures. I'm sure he forgot all about it.

So, I ordered it on October 7th and it just got here today. I wanted to make sure we got it in time for Christmas. What do you think?
